Vera Bradley Annual Sale Tickets Available February 2, 2017

Vera Bradley Annual Sale tickets will be available February 2. The sale opens Wednesday, April 19 and closes Sunday, April 23. Tickets for the first three days of the sale are $5 each and will be available at http://www.ticketmaster.com, authorized Ticketmaster locations and the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum Ticket Office.

Wednesday, April 19 through Friday, April 21  – Tickets Required

  • Session 1: 7:30am – 10am
  • Session 2: 11am – 1:30pm
  • Session 3: 2:30pm – 5pm
  • Session 4: 6pm – 8:30pm

Saturday, April 22 and Sunday, April 23 – No tickets required – Open to the public

  • Saturday: 8am – 8pm
  • Sunday: 10am – 5pm

Vera Bradley requires tickets for the first three days of the sale. Thirty five hundred tickets will be available for each session. While tickets are not required during the weekend portion of the sale, attendees who wish to make a purchase will need to complete the free registration process.

Registration will begin February 2 at http://www.verabradley.com/outletsale. Registration will also be available at the Memorial Coliseum during the sale.

Vera Bradley handbags, travel items, accessories, stationery and eyewear will be available at the Vera Bradley Annual Sale.

Vera Bradley Announces Fiscal Third Quarter 2017 Results

Vera Bradley, Inc. (Nasdaq:VRA) (“Vera Bradley” or the “Company”) announced its financial results for the fiscal third quarter and nine months ended October 29, 2016.

Summary of Financial Performance for the Third Quarter

Net revenues totaled $126.7 million for the third quarter ended October 29, 2016, flat with $126.7 million recorded in the third quarter ended October 31, 2015.

The Company posted net income of $8.8 million, or $0.24 per diluted share, for the current year third quarter.  Those results included a benefit of $1.6 million, or $0.04 per share, for a federal income tax adjustment related to the release of certain income tax reserves no longer deemed necessary.  Excluding these charges, the Company’s third quarter net income totaled $7.2 million, or $0.20 per diluted share.  Net income totaled $10.3 million, or $0.27 per diluted share, in the prior year third quarter.

Vera Bradley Announces Additional Licensing Agreements

Vera Bradley, Inc. (Nasdaq:VRA) (“Vera Bradley” or the “Company”) announced it has entered into three additional licensing agreements in the areas of home, hosiery, and swim.  The Company previously announced licensing arrangements for stationery and publishing.

Rob Wallstrom, Chief Executive Officer of Vera Bradley, noted, “We are excited about the expansion of our products through licensing which should increase our brand exposure, allow us to acquire new customers, provide additional distribution, drive traffic to our digital flagship, and position us for eventual international growth.”

“We have targeted the areas of home, fashion, and beauty for licensing, and we continue to be pleased with the amount of interest we are receiving from high-quality potential partners,” commented Sue Fuller, Chief Merchandising Officer for Vera Bradley.  “Our beautiful and unique patterns are perfect for these key categories.”

The Company has entered into partnerships with:

  • Peking Handicraft Inc. for decorative bedding, area rugs, and kitchen textiles with distribution beginning in Fall 2017;
  • Renfro Corporation for hosiery, tights, boot liners, and slipper socks with distribution beginning in Fall 2017; and
  • Mainstream Swimsuits, Inc. for swimwear and cover-ups with distribution beginning in Spring 2017.

These products will be sold in appropriate distribution channels including Vera Bradley stores, verabradley.com, and specialty and chain stores throughout the country.

Vera Bradley will work with the licensing partners in the development and final approval of all product designs.  Management does not expect licensing partnerships to have a material impact on the company’s financial performance for the fiscal years ending January 28, 2017 and February 3, 2018.

Vera Bradley to Announce Third Quarter Results December 7th

Vera Bradley Announces Licensing Agreements in Stationery and Publishing

Fort Wayne based Vera Bradley, Inc. announced it has entered into two licensing agreements for stationery and publishing.

Rob Wallstrom, Chief Executive Officer of Vera Bradley, noted, “One of our main objectives this year was to explore appropriate licensing opportunities to strengthen our brand, expand our reach to even more distribution points and customers, and establish a solid foundation for international growth.  Entering into these two arrangements is a great start.”

“We have been working diligently over the last few months to identify the right licensing partners in our focus businesses of home, fashion, and beauty,” commented Sue Fuller, Chief Merchandising Officer for Vera Bradley.  “We are very fortunate that there is enormous interest in Vera Bradley in each of these areas and that we are able to be selective and develop relationships with the expert partners that are the best fits for our Company.  We expect to announce additional licensing agreements in the future.”

Fuller added, “Our distinctive patterns naturally lend themselves to a myriad of products in home, fashion, and beauty.”

The Company has entered into an arrangement with Lifeguard Press for signature stationery and home and office organizational products.  The Company will transition from an internally-managed program and will introduce the expanded line of products in fall 2017.  The Company has also entered into a licensing agreement with Fox Chapel Publishing for coloring activity and design books and gift sets featuring Vera Bradley’s iconic patterns, which will be available for holiday 2016.

These products will be sold in appropriate distribution channels including Vera Bradley stores, verabradley.com, and specialty and chain stores throughout the country.

Vera Bradley will work with the licensing partners in the development and final approval of all product designs.  Management does not expect licensing partnerships to have a material impact on the company’s financial performance for the fiscal years ending January 28, 2017 and February 3, 2018.
