The manager found the safe in self-service bay #3 pried open and the money taken.

Suspect #1 was described as having a receding hairline, beard, mustache, and was wearing an orange hoodie and dark shorts.

Suspect #2 was wearing a dark ball cap and clothing.

The vehicle was described as possibly being a Hyundai Santa Fe, silver or gray in color.

The same suspects have been involved in several cases at different Crew Carwash locations around Indianapolis, Plainfield, and Avon.

WANTED: Woman for Theft/Fraud in Carmel

A victim reported her vehicle broken into and several credit cards were stolen in Carmel, IN. The cards were used at a Marathon gas station in Indianapolis, IN and Walmart in Fishers, IN.

The subject pictured made fraudulent transactions using the victim’s stolen credit cards. The suspect is a black female, with shoulder length dark hair and she was seen in the pictured vehicle which is a 2017 dark colored Chrysler Pacifica minivan.

The Carmel Police would like your assistance in identifying the suspect in the below surveillance photos. Burglary Suspect Apprehended; Preliminary Charges Filed

INDIANAPOLIS – Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department (IMPD) FBI Violent Crimes Task Force detectives identify a burglary suspect who is believed to be responsible for multiple burglaries across the city.

Detectives with the FBI Violent Crimes Task Force were working on a series of burglaries that had occurred in Spanish Oaks apartments on Northeast (NE) District. Then on March 28th Detectives working the Spanish Oak apartment burglaries were contacted by Northwest District (NW) Detectives about a series of burglaries in apartments complexes on Northwest District. NW District Detectives had developed a possible suspect on a northwest burglary and had tracked the suspect’s vehicle to the Spanish Oaks apartment complex.

The burglaries on NE and NW Districts were very similar in how the suspect executed the burglaries. The detectives coordinated and a surveillance plan was put it in place to monitor the suspect. The surveillance was taking place on April 12, 2017, when at approximately 4:00 PM, it appeared the suspect was casing apartments in the Spanish Oaks apartment complex. Detectives followed the suspect as he entered multiple common hallway doors and casing the complexes. At approximately 7:00 PM the suspect allegedly committed a burglary in the 3600 block of Wingate Terrace and was observed by detectives carrying items away from the apartment. Officers were previously alerted to the suspects suspicious actions throughout the surveillance and were called to move in on the suspect. The suspect was apprehended after a foot pursuit through the apartment complex.

The homeowner was located and verified her apartment was burglarized. The stolen property was recovered in the suspect’s vehicle and returned to the victim. The suspect was identified as 26-year-old Jeffery Laswell. Laswell was preliminarily charged with burglary. The Marion County Prosecutor’s Office will review the case and make a charging decision. The suspect was later transported to the Arrestee Processing Center for booking.

Brandy N. Ellis, 36, of West Terre Haute, Arrested for Forgery, Theft, and Fraud

Vigo County – This afternoon at 1:30, Indiana State Police Troopers from the Putnamville Post served a Vigo County Superior Court search warrant at 5481 West Old US 40, West Terre Haute, IN. The search warrant was sought and received by Trooper Michael Organ after a nearly week-long investigation into the unauthorized use of a rebate card. Trooper Organ conducted many interviews, followed up on various leads and viewed several minutes of surveillance footage to solve this case.

The investigation originated after a Parke County couple contacted Trooper Organ about the unauthorized use of an $800 rebate card from a national home improvement chain store in Terre Haute. The rebate was intended for the Parke County victims and at some point, intercepted by the suspect via the US Mail. The suspect and possibly others, then used the rebate card to purchase numerous items at the store, all of which were recovered at the residence. Also found at the home was a 1999 Dodge 3500 pickup, reported stolen to the Vigo County Sheriff’s Office on October 25, 2016. The truck was impound and the VCSO contacted.

The investigation ongoing and other developments may arise.

Brandy N. Ellis, age 36, of the address, was incarcerated in the Vigo County Jail on preliminary charges of Forgery, Theft, and Fraud.

Assisting Trooper Michael Organ today, were ISP Troopers Ted Robertson and Ty Lightle.

Under the Law, criminal charges are merely accusations and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.

Matthew S. Binegar, 41, from Bainbridge, OH, Arrested For Stealing a Car, Reckless Driving & DWI

Floyd County – Last night at approximately 10:58 pm, Trooper Patrick Stinson made a traffic stop on Interstate #64 westbound at the 119 Mile Marker, (Georgetown). The traffic stop was for speeding 94 miles per hour in a 55 miles per hour zone.

During his traffic stop, investigation trooper Stinson determined the driver, Matthew S. Binegar, 41, from Cliff Run Road in Bainbridge, OH, was driving under the influence of alcohol.

When trooper Stinson ran the driver and car information, he discovered the vehicle, a 2005 Nissan Sentra, was stolen from Sparta, KY earlier in the day.

Matthew S. Binegar was arrested and charged with Possession of a Stolen Vehicle, Reckless Driving and Driving while Intoxicated. He was incarcerated at the Floyd County Jail.

All Subjects are Innocent Until and Unless Proven Guilty in a Court of Law
