It’s time! The naming contest for Sun King’s Official Beer for the historic Gen Con 50 has begun! The Gen Con and Sun King teams need your help to come up with a signature name for an all-new, amazing brew.
If you’ve never participated before, this naming contest will determine the Official Beer name for the brew created in collaboration with Gen Con and its Promotional Partner, Sun King Brewing.
Will your submitted names have what it takes to join former winners? Past winners include 20-SIDED RYE, DRINK ON AND PROSPER ALE, FROTH OF KHAN, FLAGON SLAYER, and ALE OF DESTINY.
Help the Sun King and Gen Con teams come up with the perfect name for this year’s beer, and you can win the Grand Prize of two (2) complimentary badges to your choice of Gen Con 50 or Gen Con 2018. PLUS- $100 in Sun King Brewing Gift Cards and an official Sun King t-shirt. You’ll have a lifetime of bragging rights and will be able to buy a can of a beer that you named. As Sun King Brewery returns with their 2nd annual CANvitational bringing more than 40 breweries from across America to the Midwest’s largest canned beer event on Saturday, September 20, the public is invited to a special brewers reception on Friday, September 19 at 7 p.m. at the Indianapolis Artsgarden. Sponsored by Crown Beverage Packaging, CAN’d Art will feature local Indiana artists selected to create an original piece of 2D or 3D art by using cans from the different breweries represented at CANvitational.

Six Indiana craft breweries, Sun King, Upland, Flat12, Bier, Barley Island, and Triton, have graciously agreed to share their latest or most sought after brews with The Rotary Club of Fishers at their first ever craft beer tasting fundraiser.
June 14 from 6:30 pm to 9:30 pm, enjoy beer sampling, live music, hors d’oeuvres, games of chance, door prizes, and more! All proceeds from the event will be redistributed back into Hamilton County communities by the Fishers Rotary Club as part of their ongoing humanitarian support of those in need. Through the club’s network of affiliations with local schools, shelters, food and clothing pantries, and numerous women, men, and children support organizations.
Tickets are $40 per person and $20 for designated drivers. Purchases will have a direct impact on individuals and families in need, such as youth mentoring at local high schools, domestic abuse support services, food and clothing pantries, pregnant teens, and victims of violent crimes.
