Bachelor Host Slams Indy ABC Network, Gets Roasted By Indy 500 Fans

Chris Harrison, host of the “reality” show The Bachelor, sent out a tweet on Monday night whining about The Bachelorette getting preempted by the Indy 500 Victory Banquet.

Harrison tweeted, “Very sorry to hear #ABC Indianapolis fans are getting screwed over tonight and not getting #TheBachelorette Call your local affiliate and let them know how you feel.”

The response that ensued certainly isn’t what he was after. Grab a beverage and we’ll let the Indy 500 fans take it from here.

And there’s more where that came from. But I think that gives you the general idea.

Indiana Comic Con 2018 Runs March 30-April 1

The 2018 Indiana Comic Con runs March 30-April 1 at the Indianapolis Convention Center (100 S. Capitol Avenue, Indianapolis, IN 46225).

The convention will feature comics, toys, guest artists, guest celebrities, costume contest and much more!

Guest celebrities scheduled to appear to include David Harbour, James & Oliver Phelps, Sean Astin, Matthew Lewis, Jonathan Frakes, Sean Young, Michael Biehn, Wallace Shaw, Renee O’Connor, William B. Davis & Walter Jones.

The convention runs Friday Noon-Midnight, Saturday 10 am-Midnight & Sunday Sunday 10 am-5pm. The Exhibitor Hall closes at 7 pm on Friday & Saturday.

Tickets are $30 for Friday, $40 for Saturday & @30 for Sunday.

A 3-Day Pass is $60.

Kids 12 and under are FREE.

X-FILES Season 11 Is Coming!

OK, I’m a little bit STOKED…We’re getting MORE X-FILES!

FOX has ordered a second chapter of THE X-FILES event series. The all-new 10-episode installment once again will be executive-produced by creator Chris Carter, with stars David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson returning in their roles as iconic FBI Agents Fox Mulder and Dana Scully. The event series will air during the 2017-2018 season. Production is set to begin in summer 2017.

“Iconic characters, rich storytelling, bold creators – these are the hallmarks of great TV shows. And they are some of the reasons why THE X-FILES has had such a profound impact on millions of fans worldwide,” said David Madden, President, Fox Broadcasting Company. “Chris’ creativity, along with the brilliant work of David and Gillian, continue to propel this pop culture phenomenon, and we can’t wait to see what fresh mysteries Mulder and Scully uncover in this next chapter of THE X-FILES.”

Esquire Gone From PlayStation Vue Access & Core Plans

Via PlayStation™Vue:

As of Wednesday 1/25/2017, the Esquire channel will no longer be available in the Access and Core plans. Esquire will continue to be available in the Elite and Ultra plans.

For those on the West Coast who subscribe to Elite or Ultra, the Esquire channel will now be available in HD (making Esquire available in HD everywhere that Vue offers service). As part of this change, if Esquire was added to your Favorite Channels, you will need to re-favorite it. Additionally, your previously saved Esquire DVR content in My Shows will no longer be available, but Esquire On Demand programming will continue as normal – now just in HD.

Food Network Orders 13 Additional Episodes of “Ginormous Food”

Midway through the first season, Food Network announced today it has picked up 13 additional episodes of new primetime series, Ginormous Food, starring comedian and food fanatic Josh Denny, as he travels the country tasting the greatest and biggest dishes, while learning about the amazing stories and people behind them.

“The series launched to tremendous response from our viewers, so Josh Denny is packing up his suitcase and hitting the road to sample more audaciously big, mouthwatering dishes that you will have to see to believe,” said Didi O’Hearn, Senior Vice President Programming, Food Network and Cooking Channel.
